Truth be told, I am writing this exactly one year after leaving the corporate world. Initially, I had no intention of running a blog.

However, as the quantitative trading system I’ve built has begun to find its footing and the profit structure has stabilized, I suddenly felt the urge to document this process.

The past year has been a rollercoaster of volatility. I felt compelled to archive these moments quickly while the memories are still vivid. Perhaps because I have been deeply focused on AI development lately, I have this strange conviction: even this very text might one day serve as training data for the AI agent I am building.

Moving forward, I intend to calmly record the journey here—the decision to leave behind the stability of a salaryman, the reasoning that led me to choose the path of a full-time trader, and the changes that followed.

I hope that the choices I’ve made and the processes I’ve endured will serve as a meaningful "trace"—for my future self, and for anyone who might stumble upon these words.
